Brett, thanks for taking the time to read my post and to respond. I'll keep it simple, we have different ways of looking at things - which should be no surprise. The larger context for me is that my first lens is by looking at Christ. It is Christ we worship, not the Bible. It is Christ we follow. And yes, the Bible points to Christ. But we aren't called to a Biblical worldview. We are called to Christlikeness. the Bible should help us with that.
As to Paul saying that all Scripture is inspired - yes indeed. And he was referring to the Hebrew Scriptures, because the Greek New Testament didn't exist yet. Inspired Scripture is important. It gives us a guide. But the Word is primary. The Word being Jesus, the Word incarnate.
At the core, this isn't an all or nothing thing. Just because I argue that we shouldn't have a biblical worldview, but rather a Christ worldview, doesn't mean we throw the Bible out. It's a matter of what is primary.
