Chris, thanks for reading my article and taking the time to comment. First, I don't disagree with anything you said.

Second, I still argue that there are two Jesuses. There's Jesus the Christ, and there's some other Jesus that some people follow. It's no different than the crowd choosing Jesus Barabbas rather than Jesus the Christ. Which Jesus do we prefer - the insurrectionist willing to kill, or the the one of peace willing to die?

And you are right, this is has been doing on for a long, long time. I appreciate the reminder. Doesn't make it easier though.
