End times or not, if the church isn't founded in faith, then it doesn't really need to exist because then it's founded in trying to recreate a mythical past that never existed. Faith is about moving us forward to the fulfillment of time.

I often describe this as God standing at the end of time with arms stretched out drawing us into a full embrace. Beautiful.

The best days for the church are yet to come. They just won't look anything like what we have experienced in the past.
