Gosh, I don't why you think we need to change education. The current system is only based on the 18th century model. My kids are all set for a job in the early industrialization era. What could go wrong with that? Why would I want my kids to learn how to think rather than just remember a bunch of data that they could look up on google?
Seriously though, I've thought many similar things as far as the need to change education at its core. There is too heavy a focus on the details and not much focus on the core skills that work across disciplines. Thanks for the article.
