Great article. You are not alone. It drives me crazy that my fellow Christians seem more interested in being right, than anything else. I don't get it.

Where I am with this is that faith has become compartmentalized for many people. It's just another part of their life. And so other things take precedence over faith. The addiction to being right is just another idol that gets worshipped. Because if I am right, then I know. And I can be in control. And humans have a deep desire to be in control - (that's what the Fall of Genesis 3 is really about).
