Great article! I love all these changes, but then again, i’m a bit of a odd ball pastor who hasn’t bern interested in preserving the ways of the past. I talk about the decline of the institutional church as a sort of holy pruning that is happening - cutting away the dead snd those things that suck the life away. Pruning males the organism look dead, but it comes back with fuller life. Certainly not the same though as it looked before. It has been changed or transformed.

One of the wonders i have is that for an institution that claims a message of life, death, resurrection, that institution has a really hard time living into that message. You can’t get to resurrection without going through death though. And there are plenty of things in the church that need to die so resurrection can take place.
