I don't disagree with your comments. I think part of the reason the church is so conservative in the modern times is because the institution part of it has such a firm grip. Every time the church goes crazy conservative it is about protecting the institution. Happened at the Reformation too. Conservativism at its core is about conserving something. And that something is often power and an established order. It's really more than ideology. It's about power.

I look forward to seeing this change. And will do what I can to change it. Because the world deserves a better church than what it gets right now. Now,. much of it is abusive and destructive - the exact opposite of what the church is supposed to be about.
