In it he talks about the idea of Trump and his supporters being herobots. It's the idea that anything that they say or do is designed to make themselves the hero in a story and anyone else the "bad guy." It's simplistic thinking and they only have one go to on everything. You might want to check out a couple of the videos. I found Sherman's discussion on the idea of herobots to be interesting and helpful to understanding why people act as they do.
