If you want to make such sweeping judgements on certain people, you may want to start by going to the original Hebrew and Greek and looking and seeing what the Hebrew and Greek words are and what they actually mean in context to the people they were written to, not just one English translation. You may find that the original doesn't support your arguments.

For example, did you know that the word homosexual didn't appear in an English translation of the Bible before 1946? What changed? Not the Hebrew and Greek, that's the for sure. But the words have meaning that goes beyond just an American Puritan understanding of these terms. In ancient context, sex also had to do with power over others.

As with most things in Scripture, it's not as simple as this here English translation of Scripture says it, therefore it's final.

Even Jesus didn't do this. How many times did he say "You have heard it said..., but I say to you..." He was reinterpreting the established Scripture of his time.

Jesus also practices a common Jewish practice of the time which is that Scripture is the beginning of a conversation, not the nuke weapon that ends the discussion.
