It's a matter of what people think is important. I had a conversation with someone and they were talking about the importance of saving people's souls. I interrupted the person and say, I have to disagree - I can't save anyone, that job is already taken. My job is to proclaim and invite people to a different way of living and being - something transformational. What they do with it is up to them. Part of this means not being a jerk and getting to know people, rather than seeing them as a check box or task to accomplish.
