Lilith, thanks for writing this. I mean this sincerely. And yes, I'm really a pastor. And no, I'm not trying to convince you of anything or argue with you. How crazy a time we live in when I have to say all that just get to my point, right. Anyway. Your article actually reminds me that there is a long history of people of faith criticizing God and questioning God and telling God off. It's even captured in our Scriptures. You can google it. Psalm 13 is a quick example. There are other Psalm that essentially ask the question - "Are you even listening because I'm really pissed off at you..." That's my translation. See, some of us people of faith have a healthy enough faith to think that God can handle our being ticked off at God and questioning God. What's the point of God as love if God is some kind of tyrant that demands constant unquestioning obedience. That's not God as far as I'm concerned. At any rate, thanks again for the article and keep questioning and keep telling sociopaths and their versions of god to go to hell. I try.
