Prayer for April 5, 2022

Prayer for April 5, 2022: Please pray with me. God of the bigger picture, we often get lost in the minute and specific. We get caught up in specific things. We lose sight of the bigger picture of what you have been up to for so long. We see the conflicts that exist and can’t fathom peace. We see brokenness and can’t imagine wholeness. We see division and can’t imagine shalom. We see in part, and are blinded to the whole. But you are a God of the bigger picture. Be patient with us when our sight is so short, when our our creativity is uninspiring, when we can’t see what is right in front of us — let alone what is coming down the road. And even if we can’t see it, remind us that it is not in our control and that you have it. You have our best interest at heart. We are well with you. Amen.

Call to Action: Stop. Stop whatever it is you are worrying about and have anxiety about. Of course that is easier said than done. Stop being caught up in the specifics. God’s got this. And God has a place for you in the midst of this. Take a breathe.
