Prayer for February 1, 2021

Prayer for February 1, 2021: Please pray with me. God who casts out unclean spirits, cleanse our world. Cast out all things unclean with in and in the systems we are a part of. Cast out the unclean spirits that destroy lives and brake relationships — things like racism, white supremacy, Christian nationalism, homophobia, blind partisanship, greed, violence, and abuse. Cast out the unclean spirits that hold people captive like conspiracy theories such as QAnon. Cast out the unclean spirits that we turn a blind eye to — name them and cast them out. Help us to see that not addressing these things does not provide peace. There is no peace when unclean spirits are allowed to persist. Cleanse them from creation. Amen.
