Prayer for February 15, 2022

Prayer for February 15, 2022: Please pray with me. God of peace, the world expects violence, but offer a different way. How quickly the world puts your ways aside though. Do we even actually give your way of peace a chance? It seems that as soon as there is any complication or difficulty we rush head first towards violence — like it’s a warm blanket that we can wrap ourselves in to give us comfort. But all it gives is blood and destruction. Why do we expect violence and never expect peace? Why is that our first go to? Change our hearts to expect peace. Change our hearts to attempt peace. Change our hearts to live in peace. Amen.
