Prayer for March 11, 2022

Prayer for March 11, 2022: Please pray with me. God of grace, today we ask that you let your disciples and followers know that they are not alone. Many of them look at the world and see the chaos, the crazy, the anger, the fear, the violence and they are at a loss of words, in shock, horrified. They feel alone. Are they the only one’s who see all of this and are wondering how it is happening? Why is no one else speaking up, standing up, shouting from the roof tops — yelling for the madness to stop. They are not alone. Your followers are numerous O Holy One, but they feel isolated. Let your presence be known to them. Empower them to be courageous — to speak up against injustice, to live the way you call, to be an example for others to follow. Let your Spirit flow through them that they may share your blessing to others and be an encouragement to the many who feel lost and alone. Amen.

Call to Action: Be Courageous. Speak up in the face of injustice. And know that you are not alone. Find one other person who will stand beside you when you speak up.
