Prayer for March 16, 2022: Please pray with me. God of expectations, too often we think our expectations are what matter. We think we have the divine inspiration to claim that our expectations are yours. But they aren’t. Often our expectations are flawed, or look no further than ourselves and our own interests. So what do you expect? Micah 6:8 says “and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” Matthew 28 speaks of Jesus’ expectation that we will make disciples.
