Prayer for March 30, 2022: Please pray with me. God of all peoples, we invented the concept of race in order to separate and divide, to rank, and to determine worth and value. And then we twisted you into it in order to offer divine endorsement over what we created. And we were wrong. You are a God who despises racism because it goes against your very nature. You are a God who invites us to dismantle the systems that maintain racism in our society. You are a God who works to end racism, white supremacy, and Christian nationalism. That is the God we worship and follow. Because these things are antithetical to what it means to be your follower. They are antithetical to your ways of peace and shalom. They are antithetical to love, grace, and mercy. They are antithetical to your kingdom that is coming. Put an end to them once and for all and let your kingdom come. Amen.

Call to Action: Publicly acknowledge that racism, white supremacy, and Christian nationalism are wrong. And work to end them.
