Prayer for November 30, 2021

Prayer for November 30, 2021: Please pray with me. God of goodness, how are we to look at evil and how are we to respond? Are we to see it for what it is? That is what Luther called a Theologian of the Cross. Are we to fight it? Certainly not with the same methods that evil uses. In doing so, we would become the very thing that we are fighting against. We are to see it for what it is. We are to fight it by presenting and living into an alternative — your ways and what your kingdom represents. Thanks be to God for giving us this way. Amen.

Call to action: Look at the brokenness of the world. What is one thing you can do right now that offers people an alternative way of being in community from the brokenness that they experience. Go and do that.
