Prayer for October 29, 2020: Please pray with me. God of unity, you are a God who brings people together. We divide and separate of our own accord, sometimes over you though. But it is not you that causes the division, it is us. Why do we get caught up in seeking ways to be divided? Cleanse our eyes so that we can see you in the diversity of humanity — in skin colors, languages, sexuality, genders, beliefs, cultures, and more. You invite us to your Kingdom, where all are united, yet all do not lose their uniqueness either. Help us to accept this invitation and to live into it. Amen.
