Prayer for October 7, 2021: Please pray with me. God of life, you are a God who creates life. And how beautiful that is. But do we really understand this? Why do we assume that life is always what it is right now? Why do we assume that what we are experiencing right now is the right way? Are we that short sighted? Doesn’t this blind us to seeing how life can be — and be better? Why is it that we think that making life difficult is a good thing — that it will build character? Can’t we build character in other ways that aren’t diminishing to life? Let us celebrate life and live into it in ways that help life…
