Thanks for the article - great as usual. I have seen an addition comparison of salvation being equated with liberation - a freeing of people from the things that bind them. This very much relates with the idea of wholeness. In addition, I would say what you have written also reminds me of the Hebrew word - Shalom. For me, this is exactly what Jesus was talking about in his parables and every time he talks about the kingdom of God. The kingdom of God is nothing more than shalom. It is wholeness, completeness, enoughness. What else would be needed if there is wholeness? It would be heavenly. It would give us the sense of what it means to be in the presence of God where there is enough for everyone, always.
