I am Cruelty.

I shout with all my might — “Look at me!!!”

I bring pain and suffering.

The only time that exists is right now — I don’t want you to think about the past or the future. That would give you options apart from me.

I can’t handle there being joy, or unity, or meaning, or purpose, or anything that would move you towards what you want. It’s all about me after all. “Look at me!!! I’m in charge!!! I tell you what to do!”

I am Cruelty.

I have a secret.

Those that use me think they can control me. Their addiction for control is their own downfall. I can’t be controlled. I am control.

I am Cruelty.

My greatest fear is that people will see how truly weak that I really am. Why else would I have to be so savage? Why else would I have to use force to get my way? My arguments are so weak that I don’t even bother making them — I just use whatever means I have to in order to get my way.

I will use whoever I need to. I will say whatever I need to. I will do whatever I need to. It doesn’t matter — everyone is disposable. Everyone is replaceable. Even those that are expert practitioners of me. Especially those in positions of authority. They think they use me. The reality is that they are being used. And then discarded. They seek adulation to sooth their broken egos, their trauma, their hurts and pains. But as soon as they die off, the people will…
