Tim Walz is a an ELCA Lutheran, which is the denomination I serve as a pastor in. We're the crazy people who believe in seeing the image of God in others, being open and welcome and inclusive, and caring about justice. I'm ok with not being liked by some fringe strands of Christianity who are more concerned with being right in their own judgement rather than caring about people. They can block me if they don't like what my denomination is about. I never look to them for approval anyway. They are in God's hands.
